Q. What material are the medals made out of?

A. They are solid brass, with a galvanized coating and a polished diamond-cut border which gives them a distinctive and elegant look.

Q. What is the minimum order?

A. One medal! And there is no minimum order charge.

Q. What's the best way to place an order?

A. We accept orders via e-mail, postal mail, fax or phone. By telephone is still the best way: you'll be sure that we received your order and we can quickly answer any questions you may have. If there are complicated engraving instructions, a fax is recommended and appreciated.

Q. How do I pay for my order?

A. We accept VISA and Mastercard. You can also pre-pay or have the order sent COD. For your security, we recommend that you not enclose credit card numbers in e-mail messages.

Q. Is it possible to see a sample of an actual medal?

A. Sure, just let us know what medal you'd like to see, and we'll you send one (1!/4" diameter size).

Q. How fast can I get the medals?

A. We can get orders to our customers the next day in an emergency, but we prefer to have a week's lead time, even longer if it's a large order (100+ medals or a lot of engraving).

Q. How do you ship and what are your shipping charges?

A. We ship our packages UPS. Shipping charges are based on the weight of the package, the shipping level (Ground, 2nd Day Air, etc.), and the customer's address. You should know that UPS charges more for packages delivered to residential addresses (which include home businesses), and adds a surcharge for packages delivered to "remote" (according to them) locations. The total shipping cost of each order is calculated after the items are packed for shipment and weighed. We make no profit on shipping.

Q. Do you sell wholesale too?

A. No, retail only.

Q. Do you give volume discounts?

A. Our prices are already as low as we can make them, so we cannot give a discount on our stock medals. We do offer a significant volume discount on custom medals, however.

Q. Can I return leftover medals?

A. We're sorry, but this is not possible, for any reason.

Q. I bought some medals and had the date engraved on them, but I didn't use them all. Can the engraving be changed or erased so that I can use them for another event?

A. Medals are engraved with a computer-controlled machine which uses a diamond-tipped stylus to cut into the surface of the medal, so engraving cannot be modified or erased.

Q. Why don't you show all of your medals on your website?

A. We have far too many designs. For example, we have 25 medals just for cycling alone, and the same amount for snow sports! It's easier and more convenient to see them in our specialized brochures, each of which is dedicated to a specific sport or sports. Just let us know us which brochure(s) you'd like and we'll mail you one.

Q. Do you have a medal that can be used for anything and everything?

A. The Victoria medal (#354) shown on our price list is one of our most popular medals, and has been used for everything: skiing, fencing, running, bocce, bicycling, and more. (Victoria was the Roman goddess of victory, perhaps better known by her Greek name: Nike). We also offer several "blank" generic medals with wreaths instead of figures; the engraving goes on the front, within the wreath.

Q. Do you sell your mailing lists?

A. No, for your privacy, we do not sell our lists to anyone.
